Hello, I’m Amrita Tripathi, and words have always been my true passion. My journey with the English language began in 2001 when I embarked on a fulfilling career as an English language teacher. For over a decade, I had the privilege of helping students master the language until life led me down a different path. In 2014, I transitioned from the education sector to the corporate world, where I spent the next 6.5 years honing my skills in various roles.
During this time, I worked as a travel advisor for a US-based company and later joined one of the largest investment banks in the world.
While the corporate world gave me invaluable experiences, my heart was always drawn back to teaching and language. In 2021, I found myself back where I belong, teaching communication for six months and immersing myself in the world of IELTS as a speaking trainee. I was fortunate enough to be trained extensively for IELTS, and my role soon expanded to include content writing, proofreading, and copyediting for IELTS materials. To further solidify my expertise, I completed a proofreading and copyediting course from a reputed UK-based institute.
I also hold certifications in Business Communication and Soft Skills, which have empowered me to craft clear, compelling messages for a variety of audiences. This blog, Flair for Words, is my passion project—a space where I share my knowledge, insights, and love for the English language with the world.
